Well I now live with a cat who loves mangos as much as I do. We fight for the mangos. No kidding. It's weird. She still likes to chase her tail in the bathtub so that makes me the winner. I don't know why either, but that's the game I guess.
Finally joined a formal dojo. It's a rather classical/traditional sort of dojo... though I have yet to see sensei with any bamboo sticks. I train 3 days a week now and am LOVING it. I highly recommend the martial arts to those looking to get in shape both physically and mentally.. and if you're the kind of person -- perhaps spiritually too (there is even meditation and respects paid in this little ceremony before we begin class.. pretty intense).
Learning all the japanese names and phrases is tough!
Almost 1 month until I move into my swanky new den. It's going to be awesome... I can't wait.
