a lot of you know i work for Apple, and we released two new iPods today.
Black and Red is awesome looking, though i was against the engraved signitures. I know people are going to want the color scheme without the U2 Sigs.
Anyway, the bottom line is this
I am really fucking tired of people being PISSY about apple releasing new products! It's liek fucking homophobia! We're not up in your grill trying to get you to go gay, or in this case buy an iPod photo, we just exist and some people happen to like it, so DEAL.
Here's the thing, we released an iPod photo that can read and process your digital photos. Hook it up to Mac or Pc and you can automaticall sync your photos for viewing in a new Full Color screen. The battery life was also extended to 15 Hours.
So. Why are people bitching? it's 100 dollars more.
COME ON! first of all, going from a 40GB Black and White Music Only 12 hour battery to a 40gb full color music/photo 15 hour may be worth a c note. i'm telling you right now that color screen jacks up production cost.
it's not about the ipod though. It's about the fact that people right here on SG go OUT of their WAY to bitch about it on the new board. What's the matter, does the mere existance of this thing annoy you somehow? Do you just sit on your porch waiting for technology to move forward so you can go out and shake your pitchfork at it? Jesus. So fucking what!? Steve is not sitting in his office thinking about ways to piss you off, get over it.
Dont bitch about the price and the product, if you dont want it, you dont want it, it shoudlnt matter how much it fuckin costs.
If you do want it and you think it's too much, well then welcome to the fucking world. We dont all have the money to buy what we want. don't try to mask your inability to pay for it with some logical reasoning for why it shouldnt 'have' to be that price
ALSO... my fucking FAVORITES.. are the people preaching like fucking geniuses about how THEY know what apple should do. Listen you Soapbox, Streetcorner preacher. We know what we're doing. Stock has doubled, we're twice Microsoft. Please calm down.
