Alright, i just couldnt leave that last entry up too long. I try to not be that sappy so often.
So here's a thing
About a week before I left California and moved here to michigan, I was standing at a Fosters Freeze, getting myself a twister.
It as at that moment that i truly realized I was a self contained, self directed, independent adult and human being. I mean, legally and all that I had already been an adult for years, of course I knew that, but still. It just hit me then what that meant.
When i was a kid about 10 years prior, I remember always begging my mom to stop there and let me get one, but here I was buying my own. I had reached that point that we, as kids, always fantasized about.
"when i'm a grown up, i'll be able to buy Ice cream whenever I want"
well now I am, and I do.
So there.
