It's an amazing thing, the internet.
I spent sometime in the SG Chat room today. For SG being such a chill place, that chat room is a fucking nuthouse. Not so much the people in it, just how god damned hectic it is.
Anyway -
I'm running into the ever constant issue of how to make friends on SG. I find people I think are interesting, and leave them comments - with only like a 5% response rate.
Those of you who have responded - Thanks. I've met a couple cool people in the last couple days. But I'm just pining for the old days when you'd post a blog and wake up to 10 random comments because people were curious.
I can only hope the people I leave notes for get a smile crammed in their day because of it.

I agree about the per petual challenge of "making friends/meeting peeople" on SG tho.... I never did like the "conversations" in the blog comments 'cause they were always so damn hard to follow... bouncing back and forth between to or more pages just never worked for me!
of course the fact that I started just for the sets and it took me a long while to "wake up" to the community, so to speak.
and I still have a habit of going for rather long periods of time without signing in.... just not enough free time to spend it all hanging out on SG!
