We have a problem I have been thinking again and thats never good.
I miss the good old days. When I say the good old days I am talking about the first time I came down here for school. There was a lot to do around here back then. There was a great coffee house about a block from the beach it was called Nocterna. I used to go there all the time to study, drink coffee, read my poetry, and hang out with friends. I remember the interesting people who used to frequent the shop the people from the South Carolina Syndicate theater company and all of the other outcasts from society that used to hang out there.
That is what is missing now. I need a place to go a place where I can be myself and have fun. I also remember Neal's when I had friends who worked there I could go there any day I wanted and there was always someone there to talk too. Its fucked up how much things can change in a few years most of my good friends are gone or are busy with careers sure a few of them remain in the area but its just not the same.
Don't get me wrong I don't wish for those days back time moves on and things change I just need to find the next thing I know that its there waiting I just have not found it yet. I have not found the people with whom I relate to here now. I know that I will find them and my place here I just wish that it would happen so I can get on with having a real life.
