Alright, here's another audience participation entry.
Does anyone have ideas of good, female-affirming movies/tv (preferably not just merchandising vehicles) for Lucy? Even PBS Kids is woefully lacking in female role models. I guess Dragon Tales is fine, but otherwise, there's just about nothing. Even Sesame Street sucks--I mean, come on, can't they do better than Zoe,Rrrrosita, and freaking Prairie Dawn? What is that crap?

Dude I know, OUr daughter watches Bratz and these Barbie movies who wear short short short skirts and midriffs and worry about nails and boys...and Frankies four.. haha, I know theres this pig named Cuhulain and he tells Irish folktales on PBS.....And Veggietales always rocks.....But i'm not sure about female rolemodels.....Maybe Kim Possible, she's rather rad.
