Saw an advanced screening of this tonight, with a bit of caution. Movie turned out to be fucking hilarious. All the good stuff isn't in the trailer because it's heavy on f'bombs. Just a fun under-the-radar flick.

So my birthday was on Tuesday. It was pretty awesome. I was afraid that growing another year older was going to bum me out, but it turns out it didn't really phase me. I think it's because financially I'm doing well, I have a dream job, and I'm generally happy with life. Something I couldn't say has been the case in years past.

I'm gonna be older in a few hours. I guess everyone will be. But my year number will change. I dunno what to think of it. I'm not really bummed, but not excited either.

Working on Saturdays isn't as fun without new The Venture Brothers.

So I got a promotion at work. I'm the new Art Director/Webmaster of all the stations in our company. Add the fact that I still deejay on the weekends and I'm busy as hell. Probably bit off more than I can chew for a piss-poor raise. We'll see though, considering the economy is in the dumper I am happy I even have a job.
