It's fucking sad but I still see my friends doing 'the nod' on a daily basis, except now it's in pill form. I used to do ALOT of acid back in high school and some 'dust' but I never got into the hard-core addictive shit. Almost every girl I've known has either been into meth/coke at one time. You LOVE it!

never did meth myself, but i had my dependancy problems in my early 20's w/ yayoo. dont do it any more. i am only able to sleep 3 or 4 hours a night w/ out doin it, if i were to do it again fagetaboutit. . i have never did h but would really like to try it some time. as you get to be my age you dont really get chances to try new drugs anymore.

so how are things going w/ the new boy? i went on the best date of my life about a week ago. first off, we talked for 3 hours the first night on the phone. she asked me out for that week. so we agreed on thurday. meanwhile during the week we were emailing each other back and forth all week. so we go out thursday night and it was the best first date of my life. awsome conversation, we had tapas at this bar. both got a bit buzzed. she kissed me first. and i when i say kiss i mean a full out tounge kiss. it was hot. i totally melted. and then we proceded to kiss a bunch of other times after that. she then asks me out for saturday night. i said sure. so the day after our first date i email her saying that i had a great time and i am looking forward to satuday night. i dont hear from her. i was thinkin that was kinda strange. so i call her on satuday afternoon and she says that shes sick. i believed her because she sounded kinda sick. but she said lets go out tuesday. so tuesdaY morning i email her and i dont hear from her until thurdsay and she writes back saying that she met some other guy and that she thinks that theres a possiblilty of a realtionship w/ him. so i guess im out.

oh well. luckily theres 3 girls to 1 guy in manhattan.

i think most of what i write that doesn't suck is about LA.. probably because my favorite writers use los angeles as a setting and i can't help but be influenced by them. i wonder if that means that if i move away, would i cease to have anything interesting to write about?

i was just journal surfing and thought i'd drop in my two cents.
i always find that a change of season makes me yearn for the comfort of another. especially autumn and winter. it's snuggle weather and snuggling alone, or even with a super great pet, can sometimes be unfufilling.
then again, i've always thought it was up to a woman when it came to getting laid. most guys seems to be always trying so it just takes a willing mate.
regardless, i'd hate to see anyone lower thier standards for immediate carnal gratification; but then again, we all do it.

Yep, social formalities can be a paint in ass. Sometimes I'll come in to work and not say hi or good morning to anyone - hell, I just saw them the day before and every weekday before that. Then everybody thinks I'm in a bad mood or something...the key to being smooth and confident is to not think about it, just be relaxed and be yourself. It's being self-conscious that's always thrown me off too.
Of course - easier said than done - whenever I'm around someone I'm really attracted too, I'm usually quiet as a church mouse!
OK - my ignorance is showing - I probably should know who henry miller is, but have no idea.
