...hmmm?
bigirishhead:
My best buddy in real life (suckmykiss) said he thinks I should stick around. I think I will stay for a bit, I'm just not sure what role this site will play in my life right now. I'm pretty damn busy. How have you been enjoying your return to SG? smile

2 outta 3... I agree...

Would that be Nirvana's Territorial Pissings?

I agree in part. But then again, I've never really agreed with the universe that often. Sure we're friends and we have drinks on occasion, but the universe is a jerk when it wants to be. wink

I have problems sleeping. Not that I don't know how or I fall out of bed or anything, just hard to get there, even when I'm exhausted. The most successful way to trick myself into sleep is listening to music very quietly.

I'm still learning how to drink coffee, which probably sounds pretty stupid (never really learned how, I take my caffeine cold). So far I've learned how to drink Mochas from Starbucks, though seriously, why is the Grande only a medium?

I don't practice, I have that shit down cold. I like to think that we each have our own eco-systems. What would cause trouble for one person is perfectly good for another. Broccoli is poisionous to me, I can tell.

Check your email wink

journal entry number one.

The dial on my radio is tuned to KXLU-- Don Bolles is hosting Glossalalia and I'm pleased with his selections so far..
Earlier today I interviewed a potential sub-letter. We
met for coffee at the backdoor bakery. I usually go there for coffee because they (and I mean all of the servers--ALL OF THEM!!) make the best lattes ever. EVER!! Oh......

ok. I'm trying to figure out if I should pay for
dsl or cable so that I don't have to rely on work to have an internet connection. I don't have a land line so a dial up would be unnecessary..

that's all I have to report. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

I have cable, but I'm moving to DSL. They're both equal in my book.

kiss Have a good day cutie.
wurly:
look at the cost factor. if you get dsl then you have to get a phone line. two payments. if you get cable then it is one payment. I believe cable is $50 a month. dsl is about $40 plus a phone $35. a friend of my is in the same boat and he got cable.

Cool, cool, cool. It's nice to see some geniune people affecting one another positively through this site. When I first joined, I worried SG would be like other "journal" type forums, which often devolve into platforms for punters to act hip and pretentious or to create fictional versions of themselves. I've been impressed by how interesting and layered the SG members are. Thanks for reminding me.

I received an outrageous parking ticket today, so I'll borrow some of your goodwill, if that's okay.smile

I've not seen that documentary. Sounds interestingsmile Have you seen the old PBS NOVA series called The Mind. The footage with British musician Clive Wearing (whose viral encaphalitis left him like the protagonist in Memento) is incredible. Where might I find "Twitch and Shout?"
