so the boy crush (as he was formerly known) didn't work out... i've been friends with this guy for 2 years, and apparently i still don't really know him. he decided he wasn't up for a serious relationship, so he sent me some crappy email on myspace, the following is a transcript:

"Alright well before i start this is all me ok i wanna go back to being freainds cuz ur juss to good for me right now n i cant b anygood for u at this point n time.In the future when i have got my shit striaght jus give me time n im sorry to say it over the whorespace but i didnt want to hear ur reaction n all but i do really still wanna b friends n dont try to argue the matter cuz ive made up my mind juss call me in a couple of days. ighty bye bye n sorry "

anywho, i'm totally over it. maybe he really did mean what he said... but it's been over a week and he hasn't made any effort to talk to me or try to be friends.

furthermore, there's the matter of his best friend... he was trying to get with this girl that they were both friends with, who worked at sonic with me. so since we were dating two guys who were best friends, we started talking, and now we're best friends. and both of our guys disappeared at the same time... and now they are trying to hook up with two chicks that work at dairy queen. what-the-fuck-ever.

so anyway, my friend came back from cali the other day and was giving me the i-told-you-so from hell. then he mentions that he had a friend he wanted me to hook up with before, but i was with daniel. he told me a little about him and got me interested, then he heard about my friend ashley (my new best friend) and he wanted to meet her... so i arranged it as so and they hit it off right away. then he calls dude for me and i'm talking to him and i was asking him what his myspace display name was so i could find him. when i repeated it back to him to make sure i heard him right, ashley stopped and asked me what his name was... turns out that dj (the new guy) is friends with the two dick spits me and ashley were with before... only he's alot nicer. he's the one of the group that catches hell from everyone, but he's really a sweet guy. so then i'm like, "yeah, so my ex is one of your friends" and he says "you're that girl daniel was with aren't you?" so i said "well i guess we have alot in common" and then we both just started laughing about it.

so long story short, i'm mad at my ex, not because he broke up with me, but because he claimed he wanted to still be friends but hasn't showed any effort to back up that claim. and now i'm absolutely amazed by this new guy... we have so much more in common. and his birthday is one day after mine! what the hell, right? but yeah, so everything was all crappy for the past month, with me and ashley both worried about just how committed our guys were to us and our guys being total douche wads, but now everything is awesome because we got some sweet frickin upgrades
