Work!
I filled in as AD for the final day of shooting for an independent short yesterday. What a blast! There were 3 pros there. The DP, a Gaffer, and Sound. I got some great comments. I kept things mostly on track until it came to lighting the nights shots. We wraped @ 3am. Morning call was noon so we did a 15 hour day. Some of us anayway. The Director and first AD were lax about call so some of the talent did not arrive until almost 1:30.Good ting this wasn't a union gig. The principals were 11 and 13 and were on set for almost 13 hours!
Well, I got some great feedback and I'm getting my name around via the DP and Gaffer. ADing is my forte. I kick ass and am good at motivating and have no problem telling people my senior to get off their asses and work.
