Just thought I would give a little update on the happenings in my life as of recent. It has been quite a stressful full weeks for me. First, I had to deal with the chair fundraiser. That turned out great. I was donated two chairs by two wonderful people whom I am lucky enough to meet next week during my monthly visit to Charleston. Then Pezmaster continued our search for a place of our own. Well, that worked out too! Due to the publicity of the wheelchair fundraiser someone offered us a three bedroom house in the city of Fayetteville, WV which is about thirty minutes away from where I am now. I am so blessed. Prayer really does help. This is coming from someone who really isn't religious, but after meeting my future landlord, I have a whole new perspective on religion. We our all the children of some God regardless of what faith we follow. As long as we live good, faithful lives and treat others with respect, kindness, and love, then goodness will happen to us. We all will return to a more peaceful place someday where we are without disease or aliment or pain. Whether this is considered a "heaven," I am not one to say. I do however know that you can be faithful without walking into a building or attending a service every Sunday. It is merely how you choose to live your life. I want to continue to be the kind, trusting, honest, and caring person I am regardless of the evil that surrounds me in this life. I want to make a difference; I want to change things. I want to make the world a more better place for everyone, not just those with disabilities. We all have troubles and struggles throughout our lives and we can always use a helpful hand in times of need. For that reason, I am here.
