So last Saturday I was supposed to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. My boyfriend, Pezmaster's little sister, Samantha, was the bride to be. Well, we have been planning and spending money on this wedding for months. What happened on Saturday, none of us expected. There was no wedding. 
Yes, you heard me correctly, there was no wedding. After the entire wedding party and the guests had patient waited on the groom for three hours, we were told he wasn't coming. 
Apparently, he had cold feet. This is understandable. Him and Samantha are only eighteen years old. They love each other I am sure, but the type of love is uncertain. They are still immature and have a lot to experience before taking such a big step. It wasn't the fact that the groom left the bride at the alter that had all of us upset, it was the fact that the groom could not even tell Samantha himself. He made his mommy do it. Hence, the immaturity here. He even showed up to rehearsal the night before and did not have the nerve to tell us that he didn't want to go through with it. I thought the whole situation was an embarrassment to Samantha, her family, and her friends. However, it is not my place to judge. If someone had done that to me, then I would have killed them. Samantha on the other hand, defends her boyfriend and his actions and went right back home to his house after the wedding that wasn't. I think this is quite stupid, but once again it is not my life. I just hope the think things through better next time, if there is one. That way money and feelings are spared.
One good thing did come of out the wedding that wasn't. I got all kinds of pretty pictures to post. I saved them even though there was no ceremony. So I hope you enjoy my photos from the wedding that wasn't.

Exactly, that's why when I saw that picture I had to download it and share it. I don't know how many times I have thought myself out of something, into something, or been up late thinking, never fun. Sometimes though i wouldn't trade it for anything.
