So I wanted to take a chance a thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes. It turned out to be one of the best birthdays I have ever had. I didn't really do anything special, but I spent it with some very special people in my life. I guess in an effort to help you better understand the significance of these people, I must first backtrack a bit since it has been awhile since I have wrote a real blog on here.
During the last two weeks, I have relocated. No, I did not find my own place yet, but I did move out of my house. I am no longer in Charleston with my parents. Instead, I am now living with Pezmaster and his family. I love him so much. Him and his family saw how miserable I was at home and graciously welcomed me to stay with them until Pezmaster and I get a place of our own. The living arraignments are a bit cramped, but I have no complaints. I am no longer in a "long distance" relationship. Now, I get to see the one I love everyday. It is nice to be in a place where there is no stress or drama and instead of negativity, I am surrounded by people who appreciate me and are glad to show it. I can never thank Pezmaster's parents enough. I can never repay them for what they have done. So now that I am here, they have been taking every opportunity to make me smile. Then came my birthday.
Since I was around the age of 11, my parents quit giving me presents or a party on my birthday. I never celebrate it really. I have not had a cake at home for well over 15 years. I know, it is quite sad, but this year made up for it. Pezmaster's parents and himself, made it very special for me. They bought me pajamas, which I did not own many of and every bought a cake. His mom found out my favorite colors and had the cake decorated to suit. It was a yellow cake with green and orange roses. Nom, Nom, Nom. To make the birthday even more special, I happen to share it with Samantha. She is the younger sister of Pezmaster. The 10th was her 18th birthday, so I was glad to share it with her. She has become like a little sister to me. I was never close to my own younger sister, so it is nice to have someone to be sisterly with. YAY! I am happy!
So after the birthday hooplah was over, I have spent my days calling doctor's offices and other important places to switch my address. I have yet to formally change my address with the post office, but that is next on the list. I still do not know the address here without asking someone, but I am ready to officially make the change. To those of you who have been writing to me at my home address, I will make sure you get the newer one. As well, to those people, I am so sorry that I have not returned a letter to you in response. I have been so busy rearranging my life that I have not had time to pick up a pencil and paper. I will get to it soon, I promise.
Anyway, I could not be more happier than I am right now!
Well, I will correct that statement. I am sure that things can and will get better from here. Some people were right. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope all of you are doing great as well.
Until Next Time,
Jen
