Well I did it. I dyed my hair purple today. I love it! It is so exhilarating. I love dyeing my hair. I am trying to be everything I have always wanted to be. This is something I have wanted to do since 2001, so it was long overdue. I had black hair with purple in it then, but this is different. It isn't completely purple but it is way more than I have ever had before. You can notice it more when I put my hair behind my ears and clip it back. This is cool as well because I have a short haircut so I can mess it up a bit. I have an inverted style so it is easy to dress it up in different ways. WOOT! I am so excited. In other news, I got a new modem today. Finally. Yes. This excites me as well. Now, my laptop can stop burning blisters on my legs and I can commence my school work. I didn't mind my break from graduate school, but getting behind was not cool. It forced me to postpone my second class which in turn causes a delay in my anticipated graduation date. Yeah this sucks! I so want to work and make money. Not that money is important, because in the grand scheme of life it isn't but you do need it to survive. For now though I am happy. I have a great boyfriend, wonderful friends, and some family that is pretty amazing. Not all of them however, are worth the credit I am a giving them. No one is perfect however, and I hate to judge. For the rest of the week, I plan to get together with my best friend, Andrea. We have been friends since sixth grade. She is actually moving to Charleston where I live. I am so grateful for that. Ultimately, it is the plan that her, myself, my boyfriend, and her current love interest get a place together. So we will hope that comes to fruition. Who knows? While she is in, I plan to go looking for a place to live and get my eyebrow pierced. Yes, that is yet another part of the evolution of Jen. I am coming out of my shell. I am tired of being the shy nerd. I want to be the adventurous nerd. I will never quit being a nerd. Of that I am proud.
