i have never been so glad to not be in a tent at this moment. my friends are fools and/or suckers, because it has been raining all day, and they decided camping was gonna be fun. i hope someone has a big-ass tent in which everyone can sit, cause no fire's gonna light after this much rain, and if it does, who would want to sit beside it?
instead i get to listen to my in-laws rehash 3 year old arguments, and maybe i'll watch Ladyhawke on the family channel in 1/2 an hour. but we got our greens delivered. wikkid
however rain cannot stop the juggernaut that is PROM. oh YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
even if that silly spaceman fellow can't come...sigh... i hope his excuse is cataclysmic. well not really because i don't want anyone to suffer through an event so terrible it prevents them from going out and dancing on a saturday night. what kind of life is that?
so all of my non-canadian friends, i'll propose a toast to you and all the local SG members will think of you...and laugh!!! no, really, wish you could all be there, maybe when we're (much) older and have disposable income we can have a party in Tahiti or sommat.

The Elora gorge... Yikes. You could pretty much walk to my old house from the Elora Gorge. Yeah, that's my neck of the woods, it's a nice enough place, if you discount that it tends to have a history as a place screwed up kids go to commit suicide
