Yay, SG has a Missy Higgins interview!
I feel so less of a shameless girl-boy now, or maybe more so.
One of the best song writers around I reackon, even if the style isn't for you.
I especially like the androgeny of certain songs, and her metaphorical, almost synesthesiac descriptions of things, especially on the sound of white album, and the way she can tell a story in a few lines that takes a while to extrapolate despite using very simple language.
You can tell from this post that I don't possess the same skill

Great interview, have read Slash's other book, will definitely be reading this one too.
Marc Canter still seems like a fan who is crazy about the band and that will come through the pages of his book.
I grew up on this band and have never liked any other band better. Obviously Slash is the baddest black guitarist in the world now that Jimi is no more, and I think his soulful tones are second to none on his Les Paul's sounding out through Marshall signature melodies.
Thanks for adding the vids too, that really brought it to life
