I just killed the biggest house spider i've ever seen. I didn't think I would be able to muster up the courage but between all the "oh my fucking god"s and the "holy shit that thing is going to kill us all!"s I managed to get it together long enough to do the job. It was about 2 inches in diameter and just hanging out on the kitchen ceiling, waiting to drop into someone's cereal bowl.

I was watching the Discovery Channel the other day, and it was all about North American Spiders and stuff. Well, it turns out the spiders indigenous to LA are known for laying thousands of eggs in humans ears while they sleep. Sweet dreams.
