I want to pick up some freelance photoshop work, anyone have any leads?
I need a car.
I'm so stupid, i decided to keep my car and then i left it parked on the wrong side of the street on street cleaning day. It got towed, then I couldn't leave work to get it out until it got too expensive at 27 dollars a day. besides that, the car needed 300 dollars worth of work done to it so it didn't make sense to get it out.
but now i'm bummed. and pissed off at myself for forgetting it. It got towed because it wasn't registered and it wasn't registered because I was afraid I would have to pay california insurance rates if I registered it and I really couldn't afford to pay insurance here. it all seems so stupid.
I love whining about my problems online.
Here's a question: would you rather make 1500 dollars a month and live with your rich parents who take care of all your bills and needs including a car to drive, gas and insurance, or make 4000 a month and do it all on your own?
edit: no, i don't make 4000. it's a hypothetical question.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself to succeed that you dig yourself into a hole that isn't worth it.
You're 23. You have options. If one of those options was living rent/utility/transportation needs free ... I'd be all about considering that.
You've been in the "real world", and now you can more readily prepare yourself for the next time.
Comfort is never over-rated.
You have to register, and do a resume, and bid, but there is a lot of potential out there if you don't mind taking crap jobs at first.
