If I never hear of another person that is too busy, too poor to take care of their 'beloved' pet I will gain a little more faith in the world. I think people that acquire pets that they don't have time or energy for are immature, selfish people. A carpeted, temperature controlled prison is still a prison to a living thing that is bored and helpless.

My two cats are my best friends besides myself... Guess that makes me a loser, huh? Oh well. My cats are worth way more than any kind of social situation... I guess that's why I spend more time at home than anywhere else. I worked two jobs before I had my cats, and then moved into one full time job when I got them... and for that, I can only be thankful. For their sake and mine. You are a righteous woman, for sure...
