you know, diaryland is the first place i got really into writing online... like writing and writing for myself. it just felt cool to return to writing and that;s where i did it. then i started wanting to make my words pretty so i taught myself html to fix my diary, and then that progressed to making templates for other people that wanted their words to be pretty then it ended up me switching my major to design because i learned a lot about myself from that silly little diaryland diary.
i think you should email andrew the owner and see if he'd have a backup of older diaries. he might not ever reply but it'd be worth it to try.
