i went to some art show on friday. the guy who was checking the guestlist, used to be a teacher at my little high school. i knew he had recognized me, and since i'm not 21 yet that was a problem.
so he asked for my id and i said i didnt have mine on me, so then he asked my birthday. i got all nervous and said "november 38th, 1982" he then laughed at me, and let me in anyways.

it was a nice atmosphere in there, laidback people. not like some of the people at other shows or at some bars here.

i saw some guys from a band in there. my friend always tells me to go up to people and say hi to them more often. but then i thought what am i going to say? "hi, remember me? i was the girl who was helping out at your california shows. you probably don't remember because you were really high" no, i think not, besides they were hanging out with karen o. and i didnt feel like being a dork.

anybody want to offer me a job? i'm good with people and i do have experience in almost everything that has to do with assisting clients.
