Got back from England on Monday and did my first life modeling session in a MONTH today.

Man, I gained some weight abroad. I love it! Not complaining, just... wow, hey, that pudge wasn't there when I left.

I do lots of upside-down, bend-over-backwards, hold-my-ass-above-my-head positions when I model and my poor body was pretty surprised to be back at work.

yeah, from what I gather life modelling is hard work (if you're conscientious about it). I know if I go play the upright bass for more than about an hour I'm fuxxored for days... my back, my shoulder, etc. just from simply standing there with my arm up for that long

Holy shit, do I miss dancing.
silencia:
What kind of dancing?
silencia:
Dude, dancing alone in your underwear is the best kind! tongue

Are you by any chance going to Seneca's BBQ thing today? It's posted in the group.

Man o man, so I'm trying to get my ass in gear to be more employable as an artist. Turned my personal site into a portfolio so that potential employers wouldn't have to wade through my three billion drawings.

I'm also trying to get my comic GirlFuck out there. Maybe this is jinxing it, but it's supposed to appear in the GoodVibes online magazine once...

man oh man, insomniac i am, i stumbled across your journal, and of course your comic.

i haven't laughed so hard in a while.

that should be required reading material for every 15 year old in the country, if not the world.

well played, and i wish you the best.
fujofishy:
I agree with spiritphoenix, your comic style reminds me of "Blankets." It's awesome! smile Also, I think I need to print it out and give it to the 80% of people I encounter in my daily life, since they just dont get that 2 girls can successfully have sex without a guy. Great job. smile

The Leaf Project

Another new comic. If you live in Seattle, you can buy the mini-comic at Zanadu Comics. I think it's listed as 'The Leaf Comic' or something like that.

More comic news, on the 15th my weekly strip, DAR: A Super-Girly Top Secret Comic Diary, starts up on girlamatic.com
