Well... I'm still trying to win stuff on eBay... lost my bids on 2 distortion pedals in a row, I'm trying to get a Boss Metal Zone pedal for under $15. I would say about 20 bucks, but shipping costs so damn much...

Anyways, looks like I'm actually doing something for new years' eve! There's a metal fest in Burlington, and it's mostly local bands but hey, it's something, so I'm going. The headliner is the Acacia Strain, anybody heard of them? They're this sludgy post-hardcore band, sort of like Dillinger Escape Plan, Isis, etc.. They've got 3 guitarists, so I think it should be pretty interesting.
