My college guitar class is doing a final performance December 10th, at a church, and it pretty much makes up most of the grade for the class... One of the performance pieces we'll be doing is St. Anthony's chorale, which is nothing special. But, thanks to my suggestion, we're also doing Paint It Black! God I love that song.

And since the instructor knows that my area of expertise is lead style guitar, I get to do a little solo in the middle. I also might sing along to it, since we need somebody to sing while we play, and nobody else really stepped up to do it. I'm not too hot about doing it in front of people, but I love the song and I know I can do the vocals for the song perfectly. I really hope I don't mess this up. I'd better start workin on my solo...

In other news.. my research for my term paper is due tomorrow for English, and I haven't even started it! I'm going to have to look up things and just jot down as many notes on the abuse of the welfare system as I can. Damn.
