Things are getting more and more hectic as it gets closer to the end of the semester.. There's just so many things to do and think about that it's very hard knowing where to invest my time. Of course, I'm sure it's a very common scenario to just have everything piling up on you, with a million things to do and only a limited amount of time... I'm just gonna have to really cram and work all weekend to get myself caught up on my homework, which I'm way behind on. And of course, for me, there's always the musical aspect of my life, deciding what to add where, and what I want to change, having new ideas for songs, etc..

Anyways... I still have an essa to write tonight so I suppose I'll have to cut this entry off here... And I suppose I haven't been keeping up on random poems lately, so here's my current random piece of poetry:

Acquiring density
A smooth surface upon which to lay
My body and all of my belongings
Red flies scattered out over the base
Their organs lack wings
Their thoughts lack wings
And so their bodies leave them
I celebrate my hands
And the way they shake without rhythm
Stubborn in their alarm
Begged myself for warm skin
Leave the wall open
The air should even out as we speak
Vents up ahead are for acoustics
I still ask myself for warm skin
Because it will only get farther
And I won't be any warmer
