This time tomorrow, because our power company is run people so bad that Satan himself thinks they're real assholes, I will be one of 2.5 million people experiencing our 2nd major (multi-day) power outage in 2 weeks. Instead of maintaining their power lines, they start major fires across the state (the Kincade Fire, around 30 miles away, is currently larger than the island of Manhattan) or the shut down power. Or both, since the Kincade fire started during this past week's smaller (only a million people hit) power outage. And this one was their fault, since it can be traced directly to a power pole that they hadn't shut down yet.
So yeah, if a lot of people go missing from the site over the next few days, we're probably in the shaded zones in this map.
