It was a good Veterans Day. Despite missing the parade this year, I had a good time.

went to Applebee's for dinner, since they were giving free meals to all veterans. Saw a number of fellow veterans, some I knew, some I didn't.

But it's always a hell of a thing to be able to shake the hand of a retired full bird colonel who served in WW2.

And, of course, I realized that I missed the 15th anniversary of my discharge by a couple months. Ah, well...
