I'm stuck in a shit life, in a shit situation that I can't get out of. I can't date. I'd eventually have to take her home.
I can't. The reasons don't matter. Yeah, mom's sick, can't work anymore, and I'm the good fucking son. Big deal. The fact of the matter is that at age 35, I live with my mom, my sister, my niece and my nephew. Can't afford to sell the house. Need a job paying over $3,000 a month to move out and still keep the rest of the family in the house. THAT ain't happening.
That pretty much kills my chances with 99% of the women in this world.
And even if I found someone who was OK with all this shit I'm living with, and agreed to be the host, so what?
I can never move out. She can never move in.
I just have to accept the fact that I'll die alone.

also.. its really too hard to speculated what will happen a year from now let alone 50, so maybe you should just stop with the assumptions and see what life gives you one day at a time, no?!
TO be fair, anyone who feels the need to judge you on a living arrangement that even you are not happy to be with, is noone you'd really want to spend the rest of your life with right?
I live with my sister, yes, i'd like to move out, but she needs the help with her mortgage at the moment, so i just suck it up, get on with life and try not to think about what could be, only what is.
Never say never mate, i thought i'd be single whilst living with sis, not so, i've dated a fetish model and a musician since moving in. Plus with you, as you said YOU'RE THE GOOD FUCKING SON who is looking after his sick mum, to most girls i know in the UK, that is a HUGE plus.
(but i do feel for you on all your mates being coupled off, I'm exactly the same at the mo)
