Soooo, here's the update on my stupid heart, with some background.
About 8 months ago, I went to the dentist for a simple check-up. They ran my Blood Pressure, and it came up at 178/128. REALLY REALLY HIGH.
Since then, I've been on increasingly higher levels of Lisinopril and HCTZ. Pretty much managing it.
until recently.
It's been spiking a lot. Normally, I'm in the 110's range, which is good. But the last few weeks, it's been spiking into the high 140s.
So, the doc has me off of Caffeine (which might kill me) and alcohol. See if that helps the BP.
Also, all the stress I've been going thru (among other issues) has undoubtedly caused problems with the BP, too, so starting on the 14th, I'm going to be going to therapy, to learn how to deal with it better and keep it from affecting my health.
The irony of all this is that it's adding to the stress, for the short term anyway.
Oh, and my blood sugar is high, too.

It actually worked out really well. I went by one store right after work before they closed and got some great great deals!!! ^_^
