i want to go backpacking for a year, around the country and possibly around the world. i'd like to visit italy and greece, go to japan at least once, maybe germany.
i've planned on going back up to cape cod, ma at the end of this summer for a few months now.... but now i'm thinking i really want to go. figure the best thing for me would be to drive up there and shack up in some small hostel not too far from provincetown. i looked it up and the prices are relatively low so it shouldnt be too costly (since i dont make too much as it is)... i really need the expierience.... and as much as i'd like to go with a couple of people to keep me in good company... alas im not too familiar with good company who wants mine in return, not for a roadtrip to new england at least. so we'll see. but i really hope i end up going.

I'm from Boston, and we have quite a few SG girls and members in the Boston/Providence area. You may be able to shack up with one of them for a short duration. You should be able to request access to the SGBoston group. Let the moderator know that you're planning a trip up there, and tell them that Strio refered you. =)
New England is my favorite part of the country. I'll be back visiting Boston next week, and hopefully moving back up there in September. I'd be happy to hook you up with trustworthy people to hang out with if you make this trip.
