it doesn't matter whether i get the full weekend off or not, the weekend flies by.
the weekend started off with the 8 o'clock showing friday nite of "The Amittiyville Horror." it had a few scenes in which cause you to jump, due to quick camera changes, but overall it wasn't real scary nor is it worth going to pay $10 to see it in the theater. save this flick for a blockbuster nite.
corrinne and i have been to the Omega over a million times, as have been waited on by just about every waiter or waittress they have, so we know who comes correct and who slacks. as it would be, we get one who slacks. but breakfast hit the spot and from the dinner i started into shopping mode.
after about 45 minutes and $250 later, we left Target with a shitload of things for the apartment. the two best things we picked up were a paper shredder and i got some pajama bottoms. they fit ok but the crotch area is snugg due to the stitching.
next stop, The Gap! i spent about another $250. all on work shirts. needed to color up my work gear. now i'm set with all the new spring fashion.
corrinne and i were set on going out but we are are tired of all the local spots so we made it a blockbuster nite. she got some flick with Jude Law called "Closer" and i got the film about Stu Unger, "highRoller".
of course i fell asleep on her flick only to wake up early to watch mine.
sunday had us getting ice cream and visiting my mother. being only the second time i've visited my mom in 2005. best thing about visitng family, is the free mael we get. i'm all about free meals.
i finished the weekend stoned, and lost $20 in a 6 man home tourney. once again i get noe good cards.
so now i sit in my new pajama bottoms and glancing at the time. gotta be at work in an hour
