its been awhile since i've had the time to devote any effort to anything but the bare essentials (and a little ass) but shits good...shits real good.
just got back from big sur this weekend, took a little spur of the moment road trip witht he girly and let our whims dictate our course. Something so incredibly healing about dropping all of your cares and hitting the road without a plan. We slept in a hotel on the beach just because, we camped with a bunch of boyscouts (they got a lesson in nocturnal sounds of nature) just because, crossed a fence into moo territory just to see what was there and found the most exquisite beach in a land of exquisite beaches. Ate a cinnamon roll bigger than my face and drank coffee watching the sun rise over the golden hills of big sur. it was something special. I sound like a sap but damn a weekend like that really draws out the hopeless romantic in you. I'm gonna be runnin myself ragged this week in preparation for a little jaunt up to san francisco, a little halloween mischief where i'm more likely to blend in.
