met that boy last night. ladykier and he and i met at a diner for dinner, and i was nervous as all getout, and after ladykier went back to work, we stayed there and talked for another 3 hours. we had smart arguments about stuff we both feel deeply about, and then he walked me to the subway.

was nice.

gonna do it again, too!

ok, enough sibling bitchery. 'tis thursday. swam 2350m, then went to the little grocery store downstairs to buy some brazil nuts for breakfast (mmm). the store smelled like a little old lady with really bad breath had thrown up all through the store. yes, it's a gross image, just be happy you only have to read about it, and not smell it.

finally finished apocalypse...

I really am sorry to hear about the bum deal, those fucking bastards. Leeches, parasites, bloodsuckers...

I just gave away one of my songs to a documentary for free....I'm a pushover.

Give me a call; I'll go get some gasoline and firebomb the theater. I'm a trained killer, you know.

saruman:
Heh, has texting really caught on over there? It's been possible for a few years now but I haven't seen it catching on here.
saruman:
Canada is not that much different, Quebec is. Something about most of us speaking French and such.

Texting has been very popular where the cost of actually calling was prohibitive since it's usually a flat rate per message. It's also popular with pay-as-you-go type phone setup such as is very popular in Europe (where people have cell phone that have no credit in them since call received are billed to the caller, not the receiver.)

In the US and Canada where the average phone plan is something like 400 minutes + evening and week-end unlimited + voice mail + a few extras for like 30-40$ a month, things are somewhat different. Texting is cool, cute or funny, not cheaper.

today merits a serious question. my domain name is going to expire on the 17th. it's myfirstname.mylastname.com (if any of you know my name, which i think only 3 of you do). it's been at registerfly.com, and they have been very unhelpful in addition to erasing all my images at some point. do i renew with them? can i renew elsewhere? anybody know anywhere good?...
