i'm all moved into my new downtown digs. there is always something going on... always loud... always people going on about their business... i love it . yes indeedy.
in anticipation of my new life in a studio apartment, i made a trek up to ikea to buy a futon sorta thing. i used it once. it broke. i was so excited. my new little purchase is so fashionably ugly & i managed to put magical 'sarah' finishing touches on it to make it unique... just to have the thing take a shit on me. i made a half assed attempt to fix the thing last night, but when my half assedness failed, i got frustrated and almost started crying (i can thank aunt flo for that one... grr). the point? think you love ikea and the whole idea of economy of space & $$$? think again! stupid, shitty ikea. i'll get you... all in due time... all in due time...
my car is gone. neat. to all of you who are paying $2+ for a gallon of gas, i laugh in your faces!!! . i'll like not having a car even more once i get my bike seat fixed. yep. it broke on the way to work yesterday, and since it's a custom bike i can't just to buy a new seat for it. rarr! fortunately, there is still a warantee on my bike & i can get a new seat fer free... which will be really great since the old one was getting dirty anyways. ha ha. not so fortunately, though, is the fact that the replacement seat is hard and likes to go right up my ass crack when i ride. that makes for some pretty gnarly wedgies, not to mention the fact that it doesn't match my pretty little bicycle at all. dumb!
