My band didn't win the Battle of the Bands contest. We lost by 6 points so we were told. We were the Smarty Jones of the competition. It as also disappointing because no one was at the club except the people who organized the event, the other bands , the people that worked at the club, my singer's family and a few of her friends who live in Vegas and maybe about 10 more random people at the most. Oh well...yet another disappointment to add to our list. 
I have to admit I was kind of a baby about it (privately of course). I wanted to win and have things go our way for once.
On a less bitter note, we had fun gambling and hanging out in Vegas anyway and at least our room was free and so was dinner on Thursday night. The van drove like a champ pulling the trailer and there wasn't any traffic since we left on Thursday and came back on Saturday and everyone got along the entire time. The people in the other bands were really nice and we talked about trading some shows.
