clockwork2:
i just happened upon your profile.
now and forever, this is my first impression of you.

but i can see how tempting it would be. i mean the name "wii" itself is so suggestive.
sixsixty:
agreed, a wii sounds waay better than some dumb soul. i'm sold.

You know how sometimes thinking about things is almost as enjoyable as actually doing them? I do that a lot. It makes it that much more terrifying when I might actually go through with some life-changing decision, because I do it so little. Thinking about it really counts for shit. But it's enjoyable shit and it doesn't put my personal comfort and security at stake.

thinking about stuff is super important. I usually do that in the shower for hours at a time. honestly. it's the only place without tons of other people or noise.

Its also half the reason I sleep 12 hours a night... I mean, literally, there is no way Nintendo Wii is going to be as much fun as I think it is

Seriously. It's can't be.
redheadedleague:
I naturally think about things, and yeah I get a kick out of it. Goes along with my nature as a Jungian "Mastermind". Thinking means planning for contingencies. Planning is good.

Oh god...

I just accidentally spent more than $300 in lingerie. I can never shop at Agent Provocateur again. Bad things happen to my sense of finances in that store.

Well to be honest there was a mild regimen involved - less food and more exercise - and I did freak out just a teeny little bit. I'm just happy it wasn't my old hate myself and put my finger down the throat regimen. wink
Good reactions are relative.

I got a message from an ex-boyfriend yesterday. He was cleaning his car and found a little bit of wood I used to like rubbing between my fingers, and apparently this event led him to find me on myspace and apologize for being a bad friend to me in the end. Strange. I need to respond somehow. I just haven't formulated how. Tell him that's...

I lied. I haven't posted pictures of my radical new jeans yet, because I haven't got them altered. I'm short, so I have to have a few inches taken off the legs, since the jeans were apparently made for the 50' woman.

I'm now playing Okami, which is really super amazing and everyone who owns a PS2 shouls purhase it. I swear, give it a...

I got home from a week long business trip to Montreal yesterday evening and promptly slept 14 hours. There's something about traveling that just goes out of me when I get home. I'm sure I'm holding together pretty well, but the second I walk in the door I realize how destroyed I really am. After my last trip I think I slept 16 hours.

It...

you are so perfect it hurts: looks like a model, talks like a geek... it is cosmically unfair that you're straight surreal

And if you ever change your mind about being straight, remember I saw you before samitha wink

Enchanted Arms is a truly delightful game. I don't say it's original, since it sticks very close to to the JRPG formula, but that doesn't decrease its enjoyability at all. Since I got my copy I spent ridiculous amounts of time playing it. I traveled home for the weekend and I was bereft without the game. I spent 60 hours playing it in maybe 7...

Hello dollface! Why are you blogging in the middle of the night?
redheadedleague:
Looks pretty awesome, based on the press. Hmmm. My plan now is to buy this game for my brother, then play it there. In this way I will be able to kid myself into thinking I am not a video game addict.

How are things otherwise?

Missed you. Glad you're back here.

I am torturing myself by looking at everybody's PAX pix.

I played GRAW tonight with a bunch of friends. I did it from work so I was able to host a full 16-player server, which is ridiculously rare. Big servers take a lot of bandwidth that I just don't have at home. I thought I was worse than I am. I'm not on my team's competition squad because I work too much and practice too...

I'm waiting till the girlfriend gets back to see Little Miss Sunshine. Interested to hear what you think of it.

This blog is a two-parter. I could never manage to keep a frequent blog before... Maybe naked ladies are the secret ingredient.

Part 1: Exercise (the boring part)

Ran 20 minutes or so, walked 3 more.
100 normal crunches
50 crunches on either side
35 lifts on my lower back with a 5lb weight
30 lifts on either side
2 1/2 minutes or so of...

Naked ladies is always the secret ingredient.

1. You're good for sticking with it. That is, by far, the hardest part, and by far the most important. And it is a big deal, so congratulate yourself. How do you do side crunches, anyway?

2. That's pretty evil. What happened to that whole forgive and forget thing? Just kidding, we both know that's complete bullshit.
redheadedleague:
I'm with Stompbox. Naked women make everything better.

When I'm pissed, I always write two drafts. One is the "get it out of your system" draft, which I subsequently delete. The second is the real one. I've found it to be a good policy.

An interesting twist.

I had no idea a friend of mine, one Mr. Seanbaby (whose birthday party I failed to attend this year) wrote this blog a while back... 2 years and one day ago, to be precise. Read through it. Everything makes perfect sense. Who in god's name would make ice in the desert?

I got these photos in my email today... Dubai, United...

The UAE is determined to make Dubai the Disneyworld of the Persian Gulf.

You know, as much as obscene displays of mega-wealth can be annoying (especially when they serve to paper over the problems of a deeply dysfuctional society), this is just cool. I'ts just so four-color comic-book scale, it's hard to believe it really exists.
