WELFARE REFORM

So, I went to the grocery store after work. I was pretty tired after a long day... designing circuits... banging my bitch... banging her sister... spending Tyme (TM) with my wife. Anyway, I'm standing in the check-out line trying to purchase a few essentials--tomato juice, pickles, olives, toothpicks, vodka (you know what I'm talkin' 'bout)--and these fuckin'... people (for lack of a better word)... are gettin' all wack on my ass. No, to be fair, they weren't really getting wack, but they WERE annoying the fuck out of me. They had two carts of full of twenty ounce Vanilla Cokes, potato chips (a variety of flavors), chewing gum, steak, cotton candy, and many other non-nutrional, fat-ass forming, foods (for lack of a better word). They wanted to pay with food stamps, well not actually food stamps, but the high-tech food stamp debit card. What really pissed me off was the fact that I was in the EXPRESS LANE and I had to soberly wait for literally twenty minutes as these 250 lb roller derby queens tried to get demselves "a discount or nuffin'?"

I'm sorry I sound so evil. Actually I really support the idea of social welfare... but for the NEEDY... and mostly just the needy children. The sick thing though is that these people had children, including an 85 lb three year old. Clearly someone should teach them about the virtue of eating healthy. I don't like the idea of paying taxes for ghetto children to develop diabetis from eating nothing but Cracker Jacks.

So here is my proposal. No more fancy-schmancy, plantinum, food stamp cards! I think that people who are not responsible enough to buy food should be considered too irresponsible to decide what they're going to eat. The state should issue vouchers or rations. I don't care which; I just want to make sure that little Tomika is getting her nutrients.

And another thing... what the fuck ever happened to government cheese and dry milk?

eNtRopY--I'm sorry I sound like a racist Republican....

Sing it Brother!

I used to do 'customer service' for the EBT (electronic benefits card) in 19 states.

I spent 8+ hours per day listening to crack ho's and wife beaters bitch about ATM machines taking their cards and what not.
All the time they are cussing you out and saying things like, "You don't know what it's like, you have a job!" Little did they know that I took home less pay than they were 'GIVEN'. It was freaking horrible.

Now once in a great while you would talk to someone who was very sweet and polite who actually needed the EBT and welfare. They are few and far between though. Mostly you get the baby-factory-dust-heads that are cranking kids out for a higher monthly cash allotment.

People suck.
