It takes more effort than I ever thought it would to log on and constantly update the world on what is going on in my life. It is kind of nice to know or at least believe that someone cares. Lets see....truck got hit...other driver uninsured....gave false info...but I know where he sleeps 
What else...OH, got dental insurance, went to the dentist, always fun, and got a bunch of work done, including a wisdom tooth pulled, three fillings and a cleaning; all on the same day. If you have made it this far, what I am saying must be somewhat entertaining, that or you like torturing yourself with drab reading material. In any case I will give you some more.
Since I brought up insurance, did you know that 29% of Oregonians have no health insurance? What kind of fucked up shit is that? This country may be on the cutting edge where technology is concerned, but it's still stuck in the Stone Age when it comes to heath care. I am a firm believer in socialized health care. Everyone deserves medical attention. You shouldn't have to be rich or some dead beat living off the system to get proper medical coverage. It's not just the governments fault though. It's those fucking insurance companies. They charge everyone so much that no one can afford to get insurance. Usually if you can afford it, the coverage is so miniscule with so many exclusions and exceptions, that it doesn't help much at all. Someone needs to bring these fuckers to their knees. They need to either be heavily regulated or gotten rid of entirely. As much as I would like to just lay all the blame on them, some of it has to go to the people who sue everyone for any little thing. They are what cause the price hikes. Those worthless piles of horse shit need to be shot and the lawyers that bring these frivolous lawsuits to court need to be castrated, then shot. If I where to ever go off the deep end I'd execute Insurance company CEO's and people who sue for rediculous reasons. I think it would make the world a better place.

There are some places that serve people that slip through the cracks and don't have insurance or qualify for Medicaid. In Eugene there's a place called Volunteers in Medicine, and in Corvallis there's one called Community Outreach. I'm sure there are some in Portland, so if you know anyone that fits in this category tell them to look around. They can still find affordable (sometimes free) healthcare.
