My birthday was on 9/27 it was a Sunday. I spent the weekend at a camp site in Morgantown, WV where my son attends college. In a few short weeks I will be coming up to the year anniversary of the day I almost died.
Out of nowhere on November 2nd I had to get emergency surgery for a massive bilateral pulmonary embolism. Had I been older I would have been dead, lucky for me only 5 days of hospital care and home.
Everyday is a gift.....
