Alright I really didn’t know what to expect from this one. First sip had a mild sweetness to it then followed by a slight burn. All the other sips where smooth and flavorful. This one impressed me, it’s really good.
Alright so I was lucky enough to get a second four roses. This one is more mellow and easy to sip and relax with. There is no real after burn with this one compared to the single barrel that I had yesterday. I think I like this one a little more though. Really easy to enjoy.

So I’m just gonna put this out there that smoked meat is delicious and smoke for whiskey is not for me. When you first smell this you get a overwhelming smoke smell and the flavor is not one I like. It has a biter aftertaste and lingering smoke flavor. If you like peaty scotch of smoky flavor you should give this a taste.
So another rye whiskey, just my luck. On all seriousness this one has a slight fruity smell. First sip starts out soft with a hint of cherry then it turn to a spiciness but not overwhelming. Finish smooth with a little burn at the end.
Alright another bourbon. This one is mellow at first then the flavor blooms into a enjoyable mouth feel. After you swallow you get the burn but it’s not over the top. It is a nice bourbon and to be expected from Michter’s.
Normally I’m not a fan of rye whiskey. Not gonna lie this one wasn’t that bad. Normally the flavor profile for rye is to bitter for me and this one wasn’t that way.
Ok so with this one. If you have ever had Jack Daniel’s whiskey you know it’s got a sharp bite and burn to it. With Gentleman Jack they mellowed out the burn and the bite so it’s a good sipping whiskey with a enjoyable flavor. There is still some of the burn but doesn’t overpower the flavor of the bourbon.
