@samihain created a interesting fall questionnaire

1. What is your favorite part about fall?

Finally getting cooler weather and shorter days

2. Favorite activity to do during the fall?

Probably sit outside and have a good whiskey and cigar

3. Favorite thing to drink when fall arrives?

I pretty much drink sweet tea most of the time, but a adult beverage would probably be a brown sugar old fashioned

4. Do you celebrate any holidays during the fall?

Like @samihain my birthday is usually in the first week of fall/autumn, don’t really get into many holiday type things

5. Any plans coming up?

Going to Ireland with my mom

6. Favorite fall time food?

Butternut and acorn squash

7. For SGs and Hopefuls- Any new sets coming out in the fall? For members- Any favorite fall themed sets? For photographers- Have you shot a fall themed set, and if so which is your favorite?

Can’t really think of any at this time

8. Would you rather be curled up next to a fireplace or outside by a campfire?

Campfire with good company, good drinks, a cigar and good conversation and randomness

9. Any fall recipes you'd like to share with us?

Jason Bacon (It’s what my mom calls it)

Get about 5lbs pork belly no skin. Use 1/2 cup brown sugar, 3 Tbsp kosher salt, 1 teaspoon crack black pepper, 1 teaspoon curing salt(pink salt), 2 teaspoons apple pie spice(cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice). Mix spices together then generously coat both side of pork belly. I use a vacuum seal bag to cure this in my fridge for 7-10 days, sucks all the air out and seals the bag. Turn over everyday. After 7-10 day remove from bag and rise. Place on a baking sheet and place back into the fridge for 1 more day. I use Apple and Cheery wood to smoke it until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit/63 degrees Celsius. Usually smoke at 200-250 degrees Fahrenheit/93-121 Celsius . It then goes back into the fridge on a baking sheet until the next day and then hand slice it and portion it into vacuum sealed bags and freeze or give to friends.

10. Do you observe daylight savings time where you live? If so do you like it or dislike it?

Unfortunately yes, it sucks donkey dick

I want to tag these people to fill it out
