Where to start. So, I'm back from summer. I never actually left, I was just in Pasadena, like 30 miles from my normal university and about the same from my parent's home. I had heard that people at Caltech are intense, but i did not imagine myself becoming one of them in such a short period of time. I became way too concerned with getting my silly little summer project to work, and so I spend 90% of my summer in a laboratory doing physical organic chemistry. It was a good experience overall, but I learned that if the chemistry isn't going to work, you being there trying to make it work, is, well, not going to work either. I did manage to have a good time though. And I did go to Mexico for a week for some decompression. That was totally fun. Hopefully I'll get the pictures from my cousin soon, so that I can post them.
