Old skins are tight. They are worn out. They restrict your ability to move. They restrict your ability to grow. They slow you down more and more until you die. Unless you shed the old skin and let your new body break free to live a new life. 12-21-12 is about rebirth and shedding old skin so new life can grow. It is about casting off all of those things that close you in, restrict your life, inhibit your life. It is about shedding the weight of distractions inside and out. It is about discarding the callouses and scars built up from those who hold you back, take your magic, fill you with doubts. Who steal your focus and set you away from your pure path, your true goals. It is time to rid yourself of all of those things that are not you. Shedding all of those things put upon you by others that made you forget who you are so that you can purify yourself. You were born once and spent your life being overwhelmed by external forces and reacting to them until you are so confused and trapped in a shell of alien artifice. This date is an anchor point for one to wake up to themselves and repurify themselves. Wake up and realize they do not have to bow to the will of others. Your will is just as important and valid. It is never to late to be free from others OR yourself. Every time you shed your skin you are bigger and stronger than you were before. Now is the time to look inside find your voice in all the cacophony of life. Focus on it and see what it says. Then rip out of that skin of lies that is imprisoning you in death. Roar into the world with the new life that you were meant to live. Don't worry about anyone else, unless they are there helping to pull your shell open and dry your wings.
