I heard this interview today. It is with max blumenthal who wrote a book about the christian right and the underlying truths of their motivations. It is all spectacularly sick and scary. On the one hand you go oh I have heard of this guy and that guy. Then you hear all these things about them that make you think that is horrible and upon reflection it makes total sense. Then you hear about all these people you haven't heard of before, their missions in life and their goals, which is all basically to destroy the constitution and replace it with a christian theocracy. Yet as he points out the media in general do not investigate these people and simply accept their views as worth reasonable consideration without investigation.
