My mother did give me underwear and as I was tossing the boxes in my room I noticed they said antimicrobial on bold letters so that is when I thought of that line. My mother also gave me undershirts and pajama sorts of things. She also gave me a knife book and the one thing that I really desired a special spyderco knife made with a ZDP189 blade and based on the fourth generation endura style. It is for special occasions.My sisters appear to have gone on a shopping spree at ikea and woodman's to collect up a variety of novelty foods. However, for some reason they gave me a can of quail eggs and a jar of spicy pickled chicken eggs. I'm going to cry. Maybe I will come up with a safe way to use them. Maybe cut them up in a salad or something. Opening up that can is a concept that fills me with a distinct trepidation. We will see. I told them to not get me anything. They don't listen. no one does. The real concern is what infernal crap will my dad dump on me. My one sister loves the french rolling pin and the mandoline I bought her. my other sister and her husband loved their bats. they were discussing where they would keep them and whether one should be kept in the car on the way home. nephew enjoyed his ghostbusters but pulled apart the marshmallow man to make him skinny. he pulled apart and rebuilt gozer so now she has a long hair and a skirt.
I got my roommate a spyderco spin and that new book by I think RZA. It's wu-tang related. I heard him on marketplace talking about the book and I was impressed. I informed her of it which I knew she would want it. I opened up the knife to look at it before I gave it to her. it was horrible. it is so small. I held it in my hand, it felt so wrong. I wanted to scream and throw it across the room. She is little so I imagine it fits perfectly into her hand. She loved it all, so that is all that matters. My mom sent a plate of cookies and bag of who knows what home with me for her. I will share the rest of my stuff with her.
