I placed this because of a proposed ruling by the customs and border patrol to make assisted opening knives illegal by altering the definition of the Switchblade Knife Act.

I ask anyone who may read this and care to take a look.

Essentially I do not agree with any sort of weapons laws whatsoever. If everyone who makes such a big deal about gun control and may support knife or any other weapons laws would put their efforts, money, resources and whatever else they have into addressing the real issues of the causes of crime then we would have something of substance done about crime not childish ranting. We do not live a black and white world where there are good guys and bad guys like some 1950's sci-fi or western serial. Once they have addressed the social problems, the poverty issues, the inhumanity, disdain, complacency, and every other way that the criminals were allowed to become criminals because of every other supposed human being failed to be a real human being.

What it all comes down to is that there are problems. If you are not enacting real solutions to the problems then you are wasting time, energy, and resources that cannot really be wasted. Even more so when the band aids have to be re applied again and again. The reason for the drug violence is easy, americans like drugs, fuck everyone else. All those kids get shot in chicago and instead of addressing the ridiculous psycho-social and monetary reasons for the gang violence daley cries about how the gun makers run the world. I watched that a beautiful mind movie against my will, but I did watch it. I recall that the point of the film was that he through his great genius proved mathematically that the best results are achieved from combined strategic cooperation. For those who don't think a magical old patriarch coughed the universe out of his space vagina. The way that humanity grew to exist today and didn't go extinct during the many opportunities to do so in our history is that we worked together as a group for the benefit of the group. Most people in this world think about how to keep what they have and get more regardless of who it hurts. Who cares about tomorrow, who cares if everything in this life is only done half assed. Mediocre is good enough as long as I am comfortable and aspire to be more comfortable.

I wrote this and posted it in the dear lurky lurkers topic of the Plus sized women group. The response to it was exactly what I expected. My opinion of people was formed thirty years ago. I have tried to prove it wrong this whole time. No one fails to do what I expect them to do. People routinely fail to do what I hope they would. I have never had a reason to live, I already knew the answers.

In my younger days in this life I would frequent a site called watchers web. You can characterize it as an amateur contribution site that is for the most part free. It emphasizes both of those points to the extent that it prides itself on the fact that its members will report anything fake/professional from another site which is then removed. I would recommend it to anyone, especially the fellows who insist on sending messages that consist of penis pictures or telling women all the lurid desires they have of them regardless of the ladies wishes to hear it or not. Not all men are animals without manners or consideration but enough are that it makes things more difficult than they need to be. I can't say women are innocent of lacking consideration and manners either, which also causes more problems than need be.

After I discovered this site I set of a membership for my girlfriend at the time who really wanted to join and I thought it would be good for her. I thought it may help her find friends that she could communicate with and have something meaningful in common with. I saw enough of the site that I joined myself. The site was quite different back then compared to it is now. I have watched it, from my perspective, change in ways that went from something very open and inviting to insular and isolating. That is probably due to the factors previously mentioned. There was so much opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Anyone could join and with some measure of vigilance and effort find others to communicate and converse with in some way or another. A whole world was open to everyone. The openness, opportunities, and options have been pared down. What was once a safe place to just be and explore as was appropriate for you has increasingly become a place where one can be as you will be as long as you do what I say. The site has grown. The growth of anything is limited by what feeds it. Since the sites inception the population has gradually altered as it has increased. As the site has gained popularity and renown the greater the population has varied. It is no different than a population increase in the growth of villages into towns and into cities. I will not take this moment and space to surmise certain things but what one may call the bad element, those that may be pointed to as the reasons for the closing in and closing off increased with the population.

I have traditionally communicated to those who inspired me to do so in the manner most appropriate to me. As it is said more than it is actually respected or appreciated every one is different. I am in my professional life as is required to exist in a world that I am not in control of all variables and forced in to diplomatic pragmatism. I have always considered this site an element of my personal life. I conduct myself in here almost no different than I do in the rest of my personal life. As I have seen and felt the energies here change, lost people that mattered to me in various ways and faced other changes my time, energy and efforts on the site have changed. Forced anything makes nothing better. So much more needs to be said than I have space or energy to say now. People should not be afraid to reach out and communicate. People should not be afraid to express themselves. Ideally all things on this site and off would be done with a fundamental respect, reverence and love. In a more civilized world those who were ill mannered and inconsiderate would be dealt with sharply. tolerance is a poison that undermines the nurturing of respect, intellect and consideration. Viewing the world in terms of black and white, absolutes, right and wrong. It is all lazy, selfish and detrimental. It did not work for The bush administration, communist nations(or any nation), public schools, or ultimately anyone at all.

If you want to take pictures of yourself and post them then do so. Do it for yourself, do it because you love it, do it because you are beautiful and you want to share your beauty with others. The ugliness in the world shouldn't ever be ignored or forgotten, but all that we can get to balance and soften it is needed. If you find someone to be, at least to you, someone who is beautiful and significant then please by all means express it in any way that is appropriate to you in the most reverent and honest way you can. Never forget that women are sacred, thus deserving of all the reverence and respect in this world. Ultimately if everyone is treated properly then they tend to learn by example and socialize to that culture. It is at least an effort that should be made. Sometimes it is clear that individuals take out their own emotional strife and pain out on others. I have followed a if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all approach to this site and my life. if you feel like saying something that does not contribute positively or nurture then don't say and better yet ask yourself why you were inclined to. Don't make your problems into others peoples problems. Maybe people who are more quiet just need to be reached out to. when you have groups dominated be a few individuals, a few more dominant personalities, lording authority. It can be intimidating to others.

It call comes down to real humanity. Real humanity is that which gives, communicates and works with its group for the benefit of all within that group. It may no longer be a matter of survival on the African grasslands but it is about the future of all humanity. If anyone wants anything at all to be better today or tomorrow then I hope we all make that effort together.
