It's just me continually referring back to the original joke. I'm unoriginal like that.

Because when people make fun of you, you act like you don't even notice.

That was Inspector Gadget's schtick, he was completely oblivious. He never realized that he was actually on the trail of a criminal, while Penny and that dog whose name I don't remember basically had to save his ass all the time without him noticing.

So that was the joke, you're oblivious like him. No offense, I know you aren't REALLY oblivious.
