Space Jesus & The Death of Free Will

The hard Michigan air can burn your cheeks with a frigid slap in the face, especially when you're going around eighty-five and both your windows had been shot the night before by a card cheat named Hector. I however was oblivious to the chill on account of my flowing beard and flight helmet on the outside and a little coal oven of rum burning on the inside.

The strange thing about the women is that they knew just when to call. There I was, rocketing down the highway on two spares and a flat when she calls me. The she-devil, she knew I was late for an important engagement. Dontt answer it. Shess not that hot... I tell myself even though we both know she is that hot. Being a gentleman and messiah I answer her anyways, if only to put her down gently. Before I can get out two words of blue balled rejection she tells me what she's wearing for halloween.

A quick blast through the highway meridian later and I'm on my way. Pedal to the metal now Kid, you've got minutes and Hector's sister doesn't like to wait.

vainglory: the life of the party

...ill tell you what you want to know if you let the girl go.

I couldn't think of anything else to say really. Here I was, sent to the dogs on a fifth or two of the good Captain and all I could muster was a movie clich. Space Jesus wasn't one who fell back on screenwriting crutches when a gun was stuck in his face, he was a man of action. I was wearing my running shoes and with the speed of ye mighty Captain M made my move.

Disco Jesus, what in the hell happened here!? The ashen cop wanted to know hours later. The jake clearly couldn't tell disco from astro, so I dumbed it down for him. No way would he be able to understand so I gave him the slip and scaled the fence. Wreckless abandon made way for sobriety for the first time in days so I fired up Meko's vintage italian moped and roared to last call.
In the mirror I could see the police spot lights and through my helmet I could hear the oncoming sirens. For Meko, Nate and the entire baseball team it would be turn out to be an long, long night.

As for me, i needed a thousand bucks fast.

Best Halloween Ever.
