so i didn't get the job. totally bombed the test (37.5 out of 70) which i expected, but i did really well on my interview (39/60). i was told i almost got the job on the strength of my interview alone and the head of the department made a point of tracking me down before i left work the day we found out to tell me he was really impressed with my enthusiasm and if i had any questions about what they do in our Quality department to come and see him and he'd be more than happy to show me some things. this was pretty cool because i wasn't expecting that from him and he definately made a point of finding me, as i was just about to walk off the shop floor and go home when he caught me

in other news....

yup i finally did it! after 6 years of saying i was going to, and having it the same way for almost 20 years (yeah, i couldn't believe it myself when somebody asked me today how long i had had it that way). still trying to get used to it and figure out a way to style it (which i've never had to do before), but at least i have about a 2 year supply of shampoo and conditioner in my closet lmao

any suggestions on how to?

PS. i saw this video on MuchMusic the other day (yes, a video on Much! ) and now am totally in love with this song. for some reason it just reminds me of the good times in high school
